Success!!!

Post by snorkel »

Well, I did it, I completely disassembled my broke ebay LB7 and fixed the spring and replaced the scales with black walnut.

Turned out pretty darn good for my first attempt. I even replaced all the pins, so it looks pretty much factory except for the black walnut.

The scales are also epoxied, which I did first, then after a few hours I put in two counter sunk 3/32 brass pins from Ace Hardware.
The rocker and blade pivot pin where replaced with stainless steel that I got from knifekits.com. The stainless was annealed so it mushroomed almost
as easy as the brass.

I will post some picks ASAP.

Thanks to everyone who answered my questions.
