R 12 Questions

I'm looking for some info on a Remington I have. It has R 12 on one side of the blade and the circle stamp with Made in U.S.A.
Any information would be appreciated.

I know very little about modern Remingtons, but I can tell you that your knife was one of five in the Stag Delrin series. Yours being the trapper pattern. It was probably made in 96 or 97 and retailed for around $20. Unless I'm mistaken it was actually made by Camillus who had the rights to the Remington trademark at that time. Its still probably a $20 knife.
