Has anyone had any dealings with Buck repair before that they wouldn't mind telling? My business with them won't be warranty related and I was wondering if their prices are good on repairs for out of pocket payment? Do they have a set price for blades and handle material and such like Case does? Do they charge labor by the knife or by the hour? Thanks.

Buck Repair Cost
Re: Buck Repair Cost
Aimus I collected Bucks for a lot of years, and while I no longer do so I do keep an ear out. I've never heard of them charging for repairs. I'm not saying they wouldn't--particularly if the repairs were due to blatant outright abuse--but I'd be surprised.
Quality should not be an accident. So what is the explanation for some of the knives we've seen in the past few years? (from A Knifebuyer's Manifesto)

Thanks coffee. I got in contact with them and found that they are about the same as Case, maybe just a littler lower as far as non-warranty work prices go. Not bad at all.

Re: Buck Repair Cost
I have had BUCK re-place broken blades before. The current cost is $10. They only offer the standard 420 steel. Turnaround time is about 2-3 weeks but can be as long as 4-6. But their customer service is the best in the business and you often get more than you pay for from them.
