Anyone watching the PGA championship this weekend? I think Tiger has another Major in the bag, but I am cheering for Luke Donald and Mike Weir. Will be stuck in front of the telly this evening watching the golf and drinking wine.

As we all know now, Tiger coasted his way to the PGA Championship title last weekend.
Today, he won again. That makes four tournaments in a row, two of which were majors. Has that even been done before?
Even after everything he's accomplished and with all the expectations on him so unbelievably high, the guy still strains belief.

Tiger is awesome to watch, for sure. I'd say he won this tournament with about his C+ game. Pretty hard to believe. He has tremendous resolve, as well as too much game, for most other players.
That said, time seems to raise achievements to incredible heights, or sweep dust right over them. 2 cases in point...
Byron Nelson won 11 in a row, and 18 in one season in 1945. He also finished in the top 20 an incredible 113 straight times. In those days usually only the top 20 got a check.
Denton True (Cy) Young won 511 games in his career. Most modern "Aces" won't even pitch in 500 games.
But, times are so much different in each era. Seems best to just enjoy what we are lucky enough to see, I guess.
