Discontinued Buck 111

Anybody know if there's a reason why Buck has discontinued the Buck 111?

Due to the added work of fitting the curved inlays in the handle. Other than the shape, it is still a 110. Unless you are asking about the 111 "Classic" with aluminium frame?
