Made in 1988. They also had a 112 with the same 25th Anniv. etch, which was not correct. The 112 did not come out at the same time as the 110.

triva on that 112
well the 112 did come out the same year as the 110 version though not same time
the 110 was 25 years old ....but the 112 was not!
some advertising non knife person assumed they were made the same year
so they ordered the shops to put it on the blades same as the 110
wrong
the one twelve i believe was developed in late 71
so 1996 would have been its 25th year
so it really is an error knife!
but so many were made it is not a valuable collector issue
but is necessary for any self respecting 112 collection
note there was NOT a 25 year art work knife made
in 96 for the real 25 th year of the 112
which is kinda sad they missed that..
ya know the way i kinda-sorta figured it,
it's somethin like this,
if'en ya dont ask the answer is no any way....

I took a look at the Buck catalogs on the BCCI web site and see that the 25th 110 was first listed in 1987 and was listed each year untill 1993. In 1994 the catalog had a new black etch with MR. Buck hammering on an anvil and the words "Buck Knives since 1902". Very interesting....If these were issed every year......wow That would be a lot of 25th 110's with different tang stamps .
