Big Dude & lil' dude

Post by carvin don »

Haven't been knifin', in the buyin' sense lately, but I have been using my pocket knives to whittle with. Finally got around to finishing the big dude, been workin' on him on and off for about a year. Sometimes 'ya just gotta' say done is done. The lil' feller, I carved in a class I took 'bout a month ago. Hope y'all enjoy, I figured they tied into the "Favorite Western" post y'all got goin' ::tu::

Don, I think you ought to be giving lessons, not taking them.

Your carvings get better all the time, and your painting/ decorating brings them to life !

You have some real natural talent for both. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

I appreciate the kind words Fran, and I'm glad the "lil' feller" approves, I trust he's keepin' an eye on 'ya

Thanks Joe,Dave and Phil, for your kind words as well. Phil, things have been real hectic around the homestead lately, but I try to look in here when I can. Thanks again folks for the good thoughts.
