here's a queen/robeson 4" congress. fit and finish are as good as any other brand i've seen. very sharp out of the box. thoughts? anybody else have a queen repro.?

NICE Congress there!

I have a few Queen reproduction/contract knives.

Both of these Marbles were made by Queen, the first one is a Redbone Teardrop Jack and the second is a Stag English Jack.

I also have this Repo' of a Remington 1306, it's from the 1970's under the Bowen name, but it's a Queen contract also.

That is one nice Congress, I like it...

As you can see from my avatar I collect Robeson knives and I have to say that even though I have tried to collect the original Robeson knives only, the beauty and craftsmanship of the Queen/Robeson knives have been incredible in my opinion. So beautiful in fact that I find myself here lately finding more of the Queen versions attractive than the older (and sometimes a little rough) Robesons, God forbid did I just say that...

I recommend if you get a chance to read the history of Robeson and Queen for that matter on the main page knife history section. It's amazing the long history of these knife makers...

Some really nice knives here gents.

The Stockman pattern knife in this picture has O-1 tool steel blades, with the big Q tangstamp...hafted by Wendell Carson.

And speaking of Queen Repro's, here's a picture of my Queen/Northwoods Scagel repro. This is the closest thing I have to a custom knife, and I can't imagine a custom being much nicer:

I do like that Scagel.

That revolver is a 1981 New Model Blackhawk, in .357. It will shoot .38s...even those snakeshots...

those are some mighty fine looking folders. and your photography is great. i'm still trying to figure mine out.

sunburst, cool knives. i have collected old case for a while and i buy the best i can afford. but these little jewels, even thiugh new show a lot of the old world pride of craftsmanship. i will buy more. i will read up on them some more.

don't go to a gun fight with a knife. nice revolver. nice background. i gun smithed and had a shop here in texas and that's a finr piece. i might have to post another knife with background.

OKI, I am obviously missing out here. I don't even have one robeson or mastercraft congress, so boys, let on, wheres to get' em??
I do have a 1/50 Ivory Scagel though. B-A-M !!!

Are either one of these Queens a contract knife? Both nice, stag on one and unique pushbutton on the other. Pics from old camera and no tent.

Yikes you Gentlemen have some impressive hardware up there, I for one thank you for sharing, I have got to hold that push button knife in my hand, that looks too cool...Those scagels are really,really nice I am going to have to rob Jr's piggy bank and look at trying to get me one...

Bill I just recently sold my Ruger security six in 357 magnum, it was sweet shooting gun...But I needed to buy a couple of Knifes

I have purchased all of my Robesons from Fleabay, but Smokey Mountain Knife works seems to have a great selection. I just try to go the econo route on my purchases..This way I can try to buy more...

Technically, I guess the Queen Mountain Man Lockback is a reproduction, or at least an imitation of the old Remington Tracker pattern. Here's a picture of mine in sambar stag and 1095 carbon steel:
