Custom Case Knives

Post by cavemans workshop »

Howdy from Texas. This is my first post here, so first off , Hello to everyone.
Jeff Jones turned me onto this site some time ago, I have just been slow about getting here.
I am a silversmith and engraver, and have been customizing knives as of late. I reall like the western or TX look. I use hardwood native to TX for most of my work on knives. I use lots of Mesquite, Walnut, Cat claw, and Ironwood. I also use lots of silver and engraving to embellish my work.
I was wanting to get some input from other knife guys, and hopefully get ideas on where I can improve my items. I look forward to hearing from other knife guys soon.
Mike

Those are great looking knives, I am going to do some work with stag as I get time. I have used deer antler, but am looking for some nice stag to use on a project I have in mind. Please post some more pics. Those are great knives, Thanks
