German Swords

Post by logman09 »

I have had these swords for awhile but don't know anything about them, I thought someone here would be able to help me. The one is a Nazi sword the other, I was told is from a german hunting club there was a smaller knife with it origanally but I never had it. Thanks for any help. Ed

http://germandressdaggers.com/

this site has prices, conditions evaluations...ect.
i can not read the tang marks in your photographs...
the top dagger is an army model...engraved blades, desirable tang marks increase the value of a common blade. most of the ones i have seen go for around 150.oo, yet, on line i am finding they are 500 dollar plus...?
having the belt hanger is a plus...
the knot is worth 75-125 dependent on condition.
need rzm number.

need more information on the hunting knife...length of blade, overall length...close up of tang marks...http://germandressdaggers.com/Hunting%20Association.htm
the absence of swastikas and oak leaves in the decoration, is a curiosity...if they both were souvenirs...

this is a great site..wander through the solingen section...
