I have an old Case knife that I'm trying to find some information on. If anyone knows anything about this model please let me know.
Thanks.

Hello Tbar, A closed length of the knife is always nice when identifying Case Patterns, However I believe you have pictured a 62042 pattern penknife. I can't make out the tang stamp but judging from bone color and shiield I'm going to guess this is a XX era knife, which means It may or may not have a pattern number on the reverse side of the master blade tang. If it is from the XX era the stamp will be "Case" over "XX" only. Popular belief puts this marking at c.1940-1964. Another school of thought puts it from about 1945 to 64, whichever floats your boat. Early in this era Case knives did not have pattern numbers, later they did, which may help date you knife a little closer. I have seen one or two of these with a bail. Hope this helps
