Gerber Gator fixed handle removal

Hello,

I was wondering if any one knowes if it is possible to replace the handle from a gerber gator fixed blade knife. I was wanting to replace this knifes handle and I don't know if it is possible. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

I think it's rpobably one piece molded rubber, I'd say the tang runs about 3/4 of the way up the handle. you can split the handle around the edge with a sharp knife and probably pop it off with a screwdriver. For a replacement you can mortise out two peice of handle material to fit around the tang. add a guard or whatever you like.
