Broken Back-spring

Post by Luckypaul777 »

I picked up this old Henkle & Joyce HDWE 2 blade; and recently noticed it has a cracked back-spring on the inside. :( Still has some snap though; but will eventually break all the way; I'm sure. Nice little knife; any way to make & install a new back-spring; without destroying the bone handles? Thanks.

Fix shouldn't be too hard I have a whole pile of springs I'm sure I have one that will fit or could be modifed to fit. proper disassembly should save the bone handles.
