blown away!

Post by jonet143 »

sitting around the shop working on a remington, and the doorbell sounds. it's the ups man. well i wasn't expecting any new knives or shop supplies. but there he was with a box. took it in the house and opened it up and nearly fell off my bar stool. it seems philco and carvin don conspired and sent me a momento of my 60th birtday. THE coolest cowboy i have ever seen(handsome, just like me!) the generosity and thoughfulness of these two members is overwhelming. i want to thank phillip and don so much from the bottom of my heart. it will be displayed on my mantel with great pride.

Hey Don,
Great job on the carving, and a very generous birthday gift that you and Phil came up with. Keep em coming.

If you get a chance, check out this page. Scroll down to the Fains, and click on any of them that sound familiar. All these Fains descend from Nicholas Fain - born 1730 in Ireland.
