I am still looking for a Case Brothers Little Valley knife for my collection and found this on on ebay. What do you guys think??

hey mike. the seller is part of "the clarksville connection". i named him and several of his aliases this becaise they deal in counterfeits. i would not trust any thing he sells.

Thanks much for the info it really helps. I hate the fact that we need to be concerned with these type of people but I guess they are something we need to deal with if we want to collect stuff. I the words of Hyman Roth of The Godfather movies fame, "This is the business we have chosen"

Well if nothing else it has been heavily buffed. The frame looks authentic, the tang stamps could be good or could be restamped, its hard to tell from the pics. The blade does not seem to fit properly, but that could be due to blade wear.

i have been asked to reveal the rest of this den of thieves.

case5488 has the same phone and is out of clarksville. so far i have
connected three others selling questionable or rebuilt knives on ebay.

these sellers all use the same page format and the same telephone # out of clarksville. tn.
be careful dealing with them.
berfmurret told me he had a guy who could make any case new.

i have had personal experience with these people. stay away from them.
