Hi Bryan. It seems to me that there is now a good deal of overlap between the knife auctions category and the new advertize your stuff here category. Maybe one category to do with items for sale would cover both. Then there would be room for the rest of the world. :) s-k

This is my suggestion for the reorganization of the categories. Please do not infer any crticism of the great work that you have put into the site.

AAPK Site
 Knife Giveaways
 New Member Introduction
 Feedback and Suggestions
 Announcements (e.g., hats)

General Knife Forums
 General Knife Discussion
 Knife Related Q & A
 European Knives
 Rest of the World Knives

Specialty Forums
 Case Classic Knives
 Customized Knives
 Tactical knives

Knife Selling and Trading
 Counterfeit watch
 Advertize your Knives
 Want ads

Yep,

I'm working on that now... ::tu::

I got rid of most of the overlap... I'll have to give the organization you proposed some thought... time for a nap for now ::tired::

You're working me to death today s-k

I do like your organizational skills... Looks pretty good at first glance.

Does anybody else have some input on this? It would be VERY helpful... I'm deep in the forest and I can't see the trees... :| ...or however that saying goes... "can’t see the forest for the trees"??? You know what I mean ::doh::

 I only question the possibility of knives for sale being offered on this site after you have placed so much effort in the Knife Auction site. It would appear to be a duplication with less options? ::doh::

I invision the "knife selling and trading" section as a supliment to the auction site and AAPK Member owned stores... A place to advertise the stuff that us members have for sale in those locations.

Hey Bryan;
I see no trouble with a for sale or trade category, as long as limits are placed so the aapk stores will not be stomped on. If I were selling I would not be adverse to a just commision for aapk.

For varying reasons, some folks just dont care for auctions ie:uncertainty.deadbeats,etc.

Others dont have a supply to warrant a store. I belive as stated that with thought the sale or trade category would work.
This is just fodder for you to chew on.

I agree W.B. ... When I get time for a reorganization, I will take this into consideration.

Thanks!

The Big 3 I read each time I come here is Counterfeit watch, Knife Q&A, and General Discussion.
