TANG STAMP IS ::GEORGE WOSTENHOLM SHEFFIELD (no england) (1850-1890) SO YOU KNOW WHAT ERA IT COULD BE IN--COTTON,NAVY,PRUNER-4 3/8 INCHES CLOSED-BLADE HAS I*X.L. DEEP STAMPED OUT

Any ball park idea on value??

Are you sure of the time frame? The I*X.L might suggest something different.

nice pruner chris! looks to be in great shap. i like the swedged blade. i don't have any idea as to the value of that old knife. no country of origin likely dates it to pre 1891, but it's not always true.

I wish it was. With a knife like that I would like to handle it first. Them Hawk Bills can have some really wierd laying blades.
