Auction Knives

At an auction lately I purchased 4 knives,all English, all Sheffield. Two of the pocket knives were Joseph Rogers & Sons.Cutlers to His Majesty.These are fine.The other pocket knife is a 2 blade,nickle silver bolsters,horn handles,brass liners marked "SIDNEY CUTLERY" "SHEFFIELD". I cannot find any reference to this Co. in any of my books.Can anyone help.
The other knife in this lot was what I thought was a table knike,now I'm not so sure.The knife is marked "FREDERICK REYNOLDS" "SHEFFIELD" "ENGLAND" The references I've found have conflicting dates this Co. was in business. Levine says 1848-1945. Price says 1919-1926. The reason I'm looking for help is that this knife blade is extremely thin and flexible.It measures only .006 the last 2 inches and is sharpened all along the cutting edge,around the tip and along the top for 1-1/2".It is way too flexible to make a decent table knife. Any thoughts??
