Schrade KON-KAV etching?

Post by nmikash »

Does anyone know what the blade etch "KON-KAV" would mean on an older Schrade Walden? Got this knife on ebay today and I'm just curious. I've seen this etch on a couple now. Thanks...Nick

KON-KAV

Unless you hear something better, I bet it refers to a type of hollow grind of the blades.

Just a thought.

They only made two patterns with that etch that I know of....and i agree on that small stockman, its to show the hollow ground blades. There was also a 4" stockmand with a saber ground clip blade with that etch.
