Can anyone shed light on William Rodgers, Sheffield, England

Just received a fixed blade sheath knife marked William Rodgers, I Cut My Way, Sheffield, England. It has a bone handle, with layered colored washers between the tang and the butt end.

It is a traditional hunting style knife, not a military knife.

Any help here? Thanks in advance............

Know any history on William Rodgers knives? Most of what I've found relates to military knives, and no date history.

Hi. it looks like a circa 1950s or 60s knife made by John Clarke & Son. There was a cutler named William Rodgers back in the 1830s. John Clarke and Son acquired the name and 'I Cut my Way' trademark about 1855. The company is much more famous for this brand than their own. s-k
