Owd Willie, Because I always enjoyed long distance driving I once considered becoming a truck driver and went so far as to be accepted C R England, but I backed off. Your photos always bring back those distant memories.

Beautiful shot Colonel. I spent a month at Knox going through Tracked Recovery School back in '73. Beautiful countryside around there.
Nice shot Willy. Well..... they don't call up there The Great White North for no reason, eh? That's a dusting, and down here in the Southern U.S. people get crazy and go stupid when that much is on the ground.WillyCamaro wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 12:52 am That's an phenomenal pic Colonel! Here's what i'm staring at today... Looks like winter has arrived early this year.
At least we are getting some moisture we desperately need. Dad was breaking up old pasture, and scratching stubble yesterday/this morning, grounds powder.
Same here in Alabama Colonel. And even though I'm originally from the south, I still haven't figured out why people buy up all the milk and bread first???

Beautiful shot Joe. As my Grandmother used to say about all the colorful leaves in the fall, "God's Paintbrush."

That's so true here as well. The slightest hint of snow and all the bread and milk is gone!Papa Bones wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 12:51 pmBeautiful shot Colonel. I spent a month at Knox going through Tracked Recovery School back in '73. Beautiful countryside around there.

With those multiple drawers Ryan, its looks like it could be a heckuva secure knife cabinet. Great find.

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
Thanks again guys! I would like to restore it to original on the outside someday.. the inside is in great shape..the lock mechanism works perfectly on the main outer doors..the lock on the inner door can be replaired easily... it's a shame someone painted it over with that grey paint way back when? The outside is supposed to look like the inner doors...

Re: Pictures of Miscellaneous Stuff & Things
How would you go about doing that, will the paint be hard to remove to reveal the original condition?Stanwade wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:43 pm Thanks again guys! That is just too cool!! I would think you will need to be careful what kind of floor surface you put that sucker on. It would probably crack tile or stone, and dent a hardwood floor!
