HEY JOHNNIE, THAT'S A GREAT LOOKIN OLD KEEN KUTTER MAN. ABOUT WHAT YEAR IS IT, DO YOU HAVE AN IDEA? I KNOW FROM THE BOOK YOU SENT ME THAT THEY STARTED IN 1870 AND WENT THROUGH SEVERAL CHANGES UNTIL 1940. BUY THEN WHAT HAPPENED?

thanks perry, pre 1940 is all i know yet. found the pattern in a couple of books.

Good lookin Jack there Charlie. Except for the barehead, it's the spitin image of the 2nd Series HJ's you made.

Tank, congrats on having a serious Schatt addiction. It's a great way to go, Harness Jacks are by far the favs for me and looks like you too.

I gotta tell you guys, it brings a tear to my eye seeing all those HJs out there. A few years ago, I was looking for an obscure pattern to collect, figuring it would save me money! Mostly because there would be very few to buy.
However, I enjoyed them so much, I wanted to see more of them, and I got so much feedback from posting them on the forums, I tried to talk Case into producing them.
They didn't pick up the ball, but Queen agreed to do limited runs on contract, and you know the rest! Not the best business deal of my life, let's just say I don't make any money on them. But seeing you knifers appreciate them is satisfaction par excellence!

He's the reason I'm eating generic brand beanie weenie's these days, the reason why my wife doesn't talk to me half the time and the reason why I can't stop looking for more of these incredible bladed jewels....

Thank you Charlie for allowing us to share your enthusiasim with these vintage beauty's...I'm sure they would have been forgotten by the mainstream collector but for your interest and hardwork..
