If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Don't know anything about fancy rocks but that I enjoy looking at them. You got a couple of unusual ones there, and pretty.

Very cool mrWatch!
I was a bit of a Jr. Geologist back as a kid. Still have a bit of a fascination with rocks.
You have some neat samples there! ::tu:: ::tu::

An interesting hobby to be sure. As a kid I had quite a variety of rocks and minerals. But they were mostly purchased as sets from Chicago's Natural History Meuseum (The Field Museum).

Love is in the air. These two Mourning Doves spent much of the afternoon together enjoying the sun. They also frequently rubbed their beaks and heads together. Quite affectionate. Put in a lot of time trying to catch this behavior but couldn't manage it.

Rode with my son while he finished up a 1969 Camaro, final polish then the ceramic coat. I got too see some fantastic cars and trucks for sale. Including a 1954 Corvette. My wife and I stopped at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green but decided not to pay for the self tour. Saturday we went to a meet and greet where I got an up close look at and take some pictures of a late model Ferrari.

Changing implements on a tractor this afternoon and busted a knuckle. And there was a pair of leather work gloves in the cab. ::doh::

I got a paper cut on my thumb yesterday which is making it painful when I hit the spacebar on my keyboard. Does that count? ::tounge::

No busted knuckles, but I've grown a couple bone spurs from missing nails and hitting knuckles. In the old days we'd set the 16 penny nail with one blow and drive it nearly all the home with the next. Any body part that got in the way took a beating. The second time it happened in one day on the same finger usually called for a longer coffee break and a couple aspirins. I don't miss much anymore. ____Dave

No pics, but I am most definitely a member of the busted knuckle club. It's got to the point that I'll come in bleeding from some cut, scrape, or some such and not even know it until the wife asks me how I cut myself. lol

Jerryd, usually when a mishap occurs my gloves are lying there beside me as I have removed them to feed that chain through a tie down hole. ::dang::

It all makes sense when you find out that ole' Phil had attended Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami where he attained an advanced degree in Weather Forecasting. How sad. All that education and money shot to H E Double Hockey Sticks.

If Phil was your hero and you want to follow in his footsteps (well except for maybe that last one ) see how here ---► http://mps.rsmas.miami.edu/weather-forecasting/

At a lot of the TV stations, you don't need a fancy degree to predict the weather - you just need to be a very attractive woman between the ages of 21 to 30.

Suitcase. Don't forget that she needs to be able to read a teleprompter and have a gorgeous smile (among other things).
