I was never into basketball, but I made a promise years ago if the DC team changed back to the Bullets I would watch them. Was that the beginning of the PC movement?

Re: Are There Any BASEBALL Fans On The Forum?
There seems to be a bit of backlash out there these days against PC and this Cancel culture that has seeped in to our society. Hopefully sensible people are beginning to realize that you have to stand up for what you believe or someone will take it from you. Even Dave Chappelle has recently let the LGBTQRNMFXYZ community know that being nasty and militantly arrogant isn't funny. I hope this is the beginning of decency and common sense regaining prominence in our country. And absolutely GO BRAVES!

The Astros seem to do better at a different field than home.

"He was doing exactly what we hired him to do," Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said. "Bring credibility. He did it all year. He did it tonight. And I hate it for him. He really is the kind of guy that would break his leg and say he's sorry."

I honestly know close to nothing about the NBA, but "indian" college mascots started changing in the early 1970's with Dartmouth and Stanford. Syracuse dropped their Saltine Warrior in the late 1970's.
The 1990's and 2000's saw "red" dropped - St. Johns "Redmen" became "Red Storm" and Colgate "Red Raiders" became "Raiders" - there were others but those are the two that come to mind.

How about those Braves!
A come from behind thriller. We've got those Astros on the run now. I'll be down there at Truist Park tomorrow night to help cheer them across the finish line. Go Braves

Having played as the Milwaukee Braves for 38 years, do you think there are some in the Midwest that also claim them? I hope the tomahawk chop boys put it to bed tonight.

Yep Boston Milwaukee and Atlanta all have Braves fans. Plus they got the nick name America’s Team because TBS broadcast then nationally for years.
Lots of Happy hopeful Braves fans out there.
