Seems we have something in common other than a love of Arizona! Knives are most definitely a form of art! ::nod:: When I look at an old Cattaraugus or Ariel I see craftsmanship and beauty that stands the test of time. Some of the present day knife smiths are creating works of art to be admired for generations to come, like that rosewood LLoyd of Dougs. I'm fortunate that my youngest son has an eye for knives as well. ::tu::

Well i got a new one in the pocket! Its an EDC in that I haven't put it down since I got it in the mail about two weeks ago, but so far all I've used it for is a pocket mirror. Anybody else have that problem? You get a knife thats so nice you don't want to use it, but you can't stand not to have it on you. ::facepalm::

Yep! I'm experiencing that same feeling right now with my new Tidioute trapper. I had some boxes to open at work yesterday and reached for it.............stopped myself.........and reached in the front pocket for my SAK! ::uc:: ::rotflol:: ::rotflol:: I'm going to have to break the ice at some point. ::nod::

Can't impart the character and uniqueness of beausage (beauty that only comes from usage) until you scar them in some way.

I've become a 2 knife person this year. I prefer big lockers but folks around me often don't. My Old Timer 5OT has taken up more or less permanent residence in my PDA/eye glass holster while big locker of choice is in my RFP. Today, it's my newly buffed up and shiny 112.

The 5OT, which is nowhere near pristine and the more lovely for it.

I have too much stuff in the bottom of my pockets (lighters, cutters, SAK) to drop another knife down there just to carry it. I always have one clipped on my pocket, some sort of assisted open or one hand opening knife, but still want to carry other knives.

I devised a way to carry my re-handled Imperial Easy Open knife with a paracord/lanyard.

So this is what's in my belt sheath today!

Beautiful rehandle job, Scott!! ::tu:: I like it!! ::nod:: I've done pretty much the same thing. I have an SAK in the LF pockek, My lighter and change in the RF pocket, an assisted open clipped on the RF pocket, my Gerber Multitool on my belt right side, and my new Tidioute in a crossdraw horizontal sheath on my belt left side. Oh yeah! And my Leatherman Micra in the watch pocket. The guys at work jokingly call me McGiver because I always seem to have a tool on me that gets the job done!! ::shrug:: ::rotflol::

Now I want one that's more pocket friendly too! ::nod::  I love that ebony too!! ::tu::

Thanks.

Charlie I had this White Owl for sale on another board but no one bit. So, if you don't mind a spear blade, let me know when you're ready and I may be willing to part with it.
