Good enough for this group?
Sir, we love knives here.
Expensive knives, and cheap knives.
Collectable knives, and broken knives.
New knives, and old knives.
Folding knives, and fixed-blades knives.

We also love knife collectors, knife dealers, knife accumulators, knife enthusiasts, and casual observers.

About the only things that we do not allow here are rude talk, and snooty people who think that their knives are better than everyone else's.
But I repeat myself.

Thanks for sharing, and welcome aboard!
Jesus is life.
Everything else is just a hobby.

Thanks, Cody! ::handshake::
I waited as long as I could trying to find the model I wanted, but I'm still very pleased with the model I got.
Did you take up the offer on the Ultra-light for 60 bones?
I got scolded recently for polluting the Schrade Collectors thread by posting my Schrade dagger, it was claimed my knife is a clone and not an original Schrade and doesn't belong in that pure thread. ::shrug::

Compass Industries Silver Falcon model 521. 3 3/4 inches closed.

I bought one exactly like this in 1982 and gave it away about 10 years later in almost worn out condition. To most people it's just a cheap off brand knife but to me it's like a blast from the past. I am very happy to have one in my hands again.

The RoseCraft Blades Appalachian Jack RCT003. Company Description: "One-Bladed Slip Joint. 3.3” D2 Clip Point Blade. Half-Stop. Brushed Satin Finish. Micarta Covers. Steel Liners. Nickel Silver Pins. Nickel Silver Rosebud Shield. Brushed Steel Bolsters. Steel Pry Tip. 4.4” Closed. 7.7” Overall (Including Pry Tip). Designer: Andy Armstrong." Also came with a RoseCraft sticker and challenge coin.

Very nice knife but the weight makes it at sheath or blue jean knife and not you Sunday morning slacks.

Rick I have never encountered a cheaply made CI knife. I think they were a cut above other Japanese knives from that time. That’s a nice looking knife.

I'll just say amen to what Reverend posted.
I'd be proud of any of the knives you posted. We call such knives HOKs, honest old knives, my cigar boxes and Piggly Wiggly sacks have a bunch of HOKs that I'm pleased with.
Enjoy the forum.

Thank you, Mark. My first one sure did serve me well. I was more active back then and I used a knife a lot more than I do now. I used that knife for everything and it never let me down.

It was my only experience with CI but I am inclined to agree.

Here are some mini knives. Top left to right as marked USA, USA, China, W.H Morley & Sons. Next two are Imperial Mystery knives. AJ Jordan is next then last is a Bristol Line. Funny story about the Bristol line which I lost while Turkey hunting. The next trip out I retraced my steps and found it at a tree base that I rested.

Picked up this leverlock and am impressed with the smooth operation, the lock up, and the horn. I like a good auto but the horn pretty much hooked me.
That horn is outstanding!

Thanks my friend, appreciate the notice and comments. It hooked me immediately. Could not look away and could not resist the siren song. Thanks again and all the best to my fave Schr ::handshake:: ade mechanic.

I got it on eBay so I really don't have a history. I know it's made in China. The nail nick has the same style and placement as several other Queen Barlow's I've found. Do you believe something is wrong about this knife?

No sir, David I don't see anything wrong with the knife since you indicated where it came from. I'd not seen a nail nick like that on any Queen Barlows.
Can't tell from the pictures about the back of the knife. Queen Barlows were made with a regular frame, brass liners and exposed springs and also a Barlow pattern with an aluminum frame and a closed back. When used to handling a normal steel frame and you grab one of the aluminum framed Barlows , there is a shocking difference!
The handles on your knife are eye catching! ::tu::

These cool little fingernail knives came from a site called knives-of-france.com in Texas!
6 3/4" oal Lacroix Fishtail coke-bottle slip-joint with blue covers and white liners!
6 1/2" oal Coursolle "Yatagan" slip-joint that's all brass but for the drop-point SS blade!
If I'm not mistaken, our member David R. (dlr110) , is familiar with the Yatagan knife, and quite possibly the site itself, cuz that's where I first saw that knife when he posted his copy, I think! ::hmm:: ::shrug::

ya just have to be aware. I almost got burned on a Queen City knife. Its a china made sort of copy. Thats what happens after a happy, happy hour! There aint no Queen city knife with an hour to go on ebay with a 30 $$ bid, cept mine! LOL. These clones are not awful, Ive handled them but a blind man can feel the difference.
