Nice knife Jim ! A lot of people are down on Bear because their quality control isn’t great.
Every Bear I have is excellent. I always buy them at a store so I can see what I’m getting. I’m reluctant to order them by mail. And for all the people that dislike Bear, I remind them that Case also has well made knives as well as shoddy made knives. I’m also no fan of Case TruSharp Steel. If I get a Case, I opt for carbon steel. I also like the fact that ALL Bear knives are American made ! Nice find !!

Beautiful knife Theo. I always liked the muskrat pattern and that Schatt & Morgan is exceptional. Great find !

I have a fist full of dollars that I received over the past couple of months but haven't posted yet to show you guys, enjoy!
An 8 1/4" oal unmarked made in Canada slip-joint with a fully engraved all stainless body and Damascus blade! Solid knife!
WIN_20221209_11_38_15_Pro.jpg
WIN_20221209_11_37_48_Pro.jpg
This one is an 8 1/2" oal unmarked frame-lock with a SS drop-point blade, Titanium body with carbon-fiber inserts and pocket-clip! I have yet to perfect the front-flipper opening!
WIN_20230201_16_22_49_Pro.jpg
WIN_20230201_16_22_31_Pro.jpg
This gorgeous little folder is a 6 1/2" oal SOG lockback with a spear-point blade and single-stud, and an all SS body! Nice n' heavy and built in Seki, Japan!
WIN_20230125_16_27_02_Pro.jpg
WIN_20230125_16_26_43_Pro.jpg
This is an 8 3/4" oal United Cutlery UC285 front-lock with a SS modified spear-point blade with stud, SS body, Zytel covers, and front-lock closing system! This is my 3rd version of this kind of closing lock system! Made in Taiwan and cool as can be!
WIN_20221228_11_20_31_Pro.jpg
WIN_20221228_11_19_36_Pro.jpg
And last but not least is this 7" oal unmarked less expensive version of a knife made by Sakai, I think, with a 75% serrated spear-point blade, NS bolsters and liners, and black Zytel cross-cut covers! I'm not a fan of the serrated blade, but I liked the look of this knife enough to overlook it, and, it has an invisible "run-up"!

Received this on Wednesday of this week from a guy I was stationed with in Viet Nam. I'm trying to talk him into joining the forum but I really don't know how much of a knife guy he is. He's the one I talked about in another thread that had a Randall #18 in Nam.

Some excellent pick-ups, everyone! ::tu:: The knife/hatchet combo is really neat.

I received this Victorinox Pocket Pal today. According to a fellow SAK fan in Switzerland, its shield is a less common style. It's a sharp and snappy little guy who carries beautifully!

These are more that came recently but I'm just posting now! 8)
First up is an 8" oal Boker Magnum frame-lock with a 440A SS drop-point blade, cross-cut titanium body, and a clip! I love the straight clean profile on this knife!
WIN_20221124_17_12_40_Pro.jpg
WIN_20221124_17_13_14_Pro.jpg
Then there is this CRKT "Symmetry" non-locking slip-joint that is 6 3/4" oal and sports a SS drop-point blade with front flipper tab, Titanium body with carbon-fiber inserts, blued screws, and lanyard! Talk about a straight clean profile!
WIN_20221124_17_13_43_Pro.jpg
WIN_20221124_17_13_57_Pro.jpg
Moving onto this 7 1/4" CRKT "Wasp" designed by Howard Viele that has an 8002CM Wharncliffe blade and the stud has a rubber insert, aluminum body with black/blue Pakkawood inserts, and a clip! This is a nice knife from CRKT!
WIN_20221222_19_16_36_Pro.jpg
WIN_20221222_19_16_10_Pro.jpg
And finally for today are these two 8 3/4" oal Muela linerlocks, 1 all SS with a 50% serrated blade and 1 all brass plain edge! These are very solid and sharp knives that I can say I had the privilege of being cut by the first time I handled them!
