Mail was good today. Had a fabulous little treasure in it when I opened the box. Glennbad special. The antler looks better in hand than the pictures and mother nature wouldn't cooperate today and give me any sun. Gray gloomy all day, but more pics to come when the sun comes out. But this little baby got my blood pumping and spread some knife shine on the otherwise gray surroundings. Can't thank Glenn enough for a fabulous job and fabulous antler and if it's sacrilege to mod a Waynorth, than I'm converting to sacrilege. Now it's a one-of-a-kind to me, a rare Waynorth in stag and right bit better looking than it was IMHO. Thanks thanks thanks Glen.

Nice!

When I do buy my first auto after the reversal on the auto ban goes into effect on July 1, I've specified that whatever I buy is US-made. The Microswitch in Wharncliffe is the front-runner. The aquamarine color is less tactical, so less likely to draw attention.

I see used Kershaw Launch 4s all the time for $50-60, but I like the blade shape on my SpeedSafe Chive much better. Not only does it have a tip lock safety, it is also legal in more places due to not being automatic.
Thanks Cody. Autos became legal to carry here a year or so ago and because of that, I'm fairly new to carrying an auto. I have to say that although I enjoy many types of knives, opening a folder with the push of a button is a very enjoyable way to use a knife. It has become my favorite method of blade deployment.

I really like these Hogues but we have a 3 inch blade restriction for carry. I want one of the bigger Hougue autos too but knowing that I won't carry it is holding me back from getting one. These Micoswitches are of superior quality and I'd like to try a larger model someday.

The blades on all three of mine are perfectly centered and they all lock up tight as a drum. The safety switch is consistent on all of them too. Just the right amount of resistance on all three. They click into place and they stay there until you move them. I'm 100% worry free about these accidently opening in my pocket or closing during use. They are wonderful knives.
Beautiful knives Rick! ::tu:: Your new Wharncliffe/Aqua is the pearl of the bunch! 8)

Here’s my latest. I’d been searching high and low for an unused 1997 Buck 110. A ‘97 110 was my 18th birthday present to myself. The first knife I bought without a chaperone. I carried it every day for almost twenty years. I used it, I abused it, I loved it. Unfortunately I finally managed to kill it. I normally don’t believe in safe queens, but I’m going to keep this one fresh. Every time I look at it I’ll remember the day I unboxed “old number 1”

Nice!

I have a 442 and a 444 from my birth year that are users (I think Buck produced a ton of them in '96--in fact, I see more of that tang stamp on those two models than any other) but plan to add a 110 for the collection.

The 005 is a sweet little knives TMK. I picked up a couple back when they first came out. I just wish Case had produced more in different handle materials in this pattern.

Well, received this one a few days ago, had to do some clean-up, another fixer-upper. A 3-5/8 Cattleman's Knife I believe made by Camillus for Sears. It has bone handles, brass liners, A Spear point master blade, Sheepsfoot, secondary, and pen on the final. As received, It was rusty, the handle has a chip missing on the mark side center pin, the Main blade had a piece missing, all blades were stiff & gritty, and had been dropped on the end. So, did my usual cleanup and reformed the master blade back to a spear point. Amazing what a hot mineral oil spa treatment will do. Not only to flush out gunk, but to rejuvenate the bone. Now it is a decent EDC, and has some new life in her. All blades have great snap, and only the Master blade has a small bit of wobble. Here's some pics.
