Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
I'm not familiar with these - am I understanding correctly that the same automatic knife can be found in Schrade, Case & Remington livery?

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
I remain hopeful that LT, Eric, Cal, or many of the other Schrade aficionados might see this and comment. Besides have the equipment and being most qualified to make a knife like this at the time, Schrade most likely owned the patent for the design. My guess is the pattern was moderately to highly sought after and most knife makers wanted one in their catalog portfolio (aka livery). Therefore they got Schrade to make them.TwoFlowersLuggage wrote:I'm not familiar with these - am I understanding correctly that the same automatic knife can be found in Schrade, Case & Remington livery?
Here are some relevant catalog pictures and links to other AAPK posts. You will notice Schrade themselves had 2 patterns - with and without a swing guard.

Wow - that's as gnarly as it gets! You just don't see that kind of stag on the Case knives made today.

That is really nice! The "knarlier" the better. Is "knarlier" even a real word?

That is a fine old Case! You probably didn't find that at a yard sale.

Nicest 75 I've ever seen, probably some of the nicest stag too.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
I do have two additional pics of the 75 in the daylight, to depth of the pile side is hard to capture, but it’s impressive
Thanks for the words! I have a pic of my 75 stag pile, very selective about which ones I add. I’ll post the pic sometime

Zach,
Pictures like you are showing makes a newbie stag collector, like me, weak at the knees! They are incredible. It also gives me something to shoot for when shopping.
About how old are these knives? Thanks.
