Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I'm not familiar with these - am I understanding correctly that the same automatic knife can be found in Schrade, Case & Remington livery?

I remain hopeful that LT, Eric, Cal, or many of the other Schrade aficionados might see this and comment. Besides have the equipment and being most qualified to make a knife like this at the time, Schrade most likely owned the patent for the design. My guess is the pattern was moderately to highly sought after and most knife makers wanted one in their catalog portfolio (aka livery). Therefore they got Schrade to make them.

Here are some relevant catalog pictures and links to other AAPK posts. You will notice Schrade themselves had 2 patterns - with and without a swing guard.

Wow - that's as gnarly as it gets! You just don't see that kind of stag on the Case knives made today.

I do have two additional pics of the 75 in the daylight, to depth of the pile side is hard to capture, but it’s impressive

Thanks for the words! I have a pic of my 75 stag pile, very selective about which ones I add. I’ll post the pic sometime

Great knives Zach. What am I bracing for?
