I've collected Camillus knives for quite a while and have about 200 of them. Of these, I count about 100 pre war knives. Of these only about 10 have any pattern number. No doubt Camillus produced hundreds of pocket knife patterns. After the war they reduced the number of patterns to about a hundred using pattern numbers that ranged from 1 to 100 (as in everything there is probably some exception), however, even with these reduced pattern numbers there are 14 which I have never seen and I don't believe they were used, for instance pattern numbers 55, 56, 57, 58, and 59.
