Dog, it didn't occur to me that those vids might be re-dos.
I sure hope not, that would really damage my regard for C/S knives.

I certainly admire your top 3 choices of C/S knives, even though 2 differ from mine, the "Caledonian", the "Hold-Out", and the "Tai-Pan"! Cold Steel knives are likely the closest I come to "collecting" as opposed to my dedicated "accumulating"!
9 1/4" Caledonian Edge linerlock! This is from their 60 series, and they now have just introduced a blacked-out model!
13 1/4" Hold-out mid-lock! Also comes in 2 shorter blade length models, and all come in serrated as well! This thing is almost a sword and was hard to hold 1-handed for the picture, hence the blurry picture!
13" Tai-Pan dagger! The very first C/S knife I ever saw years ago, and pursued it until I finally got mine! Definite consideration if going in the bush!
and then release it and it went right back to standing up straight with absolutely no damage,
I was hooked!

... I would say my top 3 C.S. fixed blades would be the Tai-pan, the Trail Master and the Cold Steel Master Tanto San Mai
the Caledonian really is a special knife and I'm certain you would love it. The C/S website currently has the all-black model available for $449.00, and if it becomes as popular as the original that price won't move much over time. Personally, I didn't care for the black model which is odd since I usual would, and I'd recommend you hold off and continue searching for one like mine, like anything else, they'll come up eventually. They also have the Tai-Pan available, but I don't recall how much. Their website isn't known for low prices, you might be best shopping elsewhere.
