Thanks for the kind words, I’ve been lucky to find these things for sure. Not sure about the Puma connection but think sometime long ago they might have been. The debate goes on whether they were a marker or jobber. I lean toward maker because a box I have shows some sort of a medal for an expo. They owned the Electric trademark and I believe they bought NY Knife company

I went to the Gateway Knife Collectors Club knife show in St Louis on Sunday. There was a gentleman there that had several Cripple Creeks and other knives made by Bod Cargill. And he had a barrel knife that looked just like the one in this pic ::woot::

It may very well have been the same knife. I'm sure there weren't very many of these made. It was worth the drive just to see a knife I've only seen in pics on the internet. The highlight of the show as far I'm concerned. The pic does not do it justice. The stainless and MOP are gorgeous. The knife is a work of art. It should be in a museum next to Faberge eggs. I gush, but its gush worthy :D

Was the owner offering it for sale ? or just showing it to those who were interested ?

I didn't even ask
He took it out of his display case and handed it to me. He said Bob only made three of them, but it wasn't clear if he meant 3 barrel knives total or 3 like this one. Then he started talking about Bob and showing me this knife Bob built for him in 2016 and I never asked him if it was for sale. The price wouldn't have mattered since I know it would have been "lots". He had a set of the Cripple Creek Ten Little Indians, complete with display case, that he wanted $3000 for ::uc::
I was just so surprised to see it given that we were just discussing it here. Made my day ::woot::

Awesome knife Mike ::tu:: really makes the "knives " that I sent you for the POS exchange true Pieces of ####! Wonder what that would have cost back in the day if a knife like that were sold at to the public?

What beautiful knives!
The top one reminds me very much of old opera glasses, the miniature binoculars that ladies used to carry. Ive seen some that have much the same look.
I’m too young to be this old!
