Case 6380 Whittler -- show us yours***

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Wow, there are a bunch of fine knives posted here. I do not have a 6380 to show off ... sigh. They always seem to sell for just a bit more than I want to pay when I see them on Ebay. After feasting my eyes on the ones here maybe I need to buy one or two.

After looking at the knives on this thread I finally gave in and bought a 6380 off Ebay. Now that I have one I can see why so many folks like them. I wonder why Case has not made a newer run of the 6380. Surely the folks in charge are aware of the prices the old ones (even in rough shape) bring these days. Seems like they would sell at least as good as the Seahorse.

Here is my new old whittler!
