I really like that jigging pattern on the red wine bone; mine's on the way! ::nod:: Along with it is a Tidioute 72 in ruby red bone; I bought one of these but sent it off to be rehandled. I liked it so much, though, I got to thinkin' I maybe shouldn' o' done that, so... I ordered another! ::ds::

YOU KNOW I LOVE THAT RED BONE !!! ::shrug::

Beautiful knives Monk, gets me excited for mine. ::tu::
In hand, which stag do you like better?

I really like the Elk Stag, and I'll be getting one of those for my B-day, so the wait begins. :)

P.S.
How many #72s have you carried, and how do they ride in the pocket?
Thanks Monk

Thanks Earl, it will be a while before the actual date, but those knives weren't gonna last.
I got a Red Wine with a clip, I figure I'll use it till my B-day, then I'll put the American Elk Stag to the test, it's also a clip. ::tu::
I thought about the warnie, but I already have two #53s with wharncliffes, and That clip just looks too perfect for my needs. 8)

I hope to have an EDC review on these knives, I should have the Red Wine today. ::ds::

Any for you my friend?

Monk,

Those 72s in elk and stag are fantastic. Would love to see pics of them closed to compare the wharncliffe & clip profiles.

#72 440c Spear in American Elk. Now there's an idea!! A #72 Spear in Ebony was my first GEC and it has been all downhill for my bank account since then.

Thanks guys____mine should be in hand,Monday ::nod::

Johnnie____I've only carried the (the two) stags below, with clip blades , but handle won't make a big difference to me___the easy open, flat size, and tight lock-up,will be the same on both___this is the first ""Elk Stag"" that I've seen em' use, with a lot of ""knobby texture"" and deep lines____looks really good to me___Monk ::tu::
