Here is a nice BIG KA-BAR hawk, 4 3/4" closed! A real hand full. Now that i've got the ka-bar variations, guess I need to take a step back further and locate some union examples
. Collecting hawks is never ending, since I got an early start, maybe by the year 2058 I'll have them all

woohoo, they arrived
not all hawkbills but most of them are

old Schrade Cut Co 136 Square butt, and ratail bolster, has been cleaned a bit at some point but they didn't do no damage, have been pursuing one of these for a while

got outbid on a john primble a while back on ebay, this one is near mint

a near mint queen from 1972-1975

a fightin' rooster with a tremendous backspring

and a carl schlieper (german eye) that is in really good condition. None of the above (with exception of the schrade) have been sharpened

Thanks those knives shown are mine but this is one that I'm in deep thought over is this a green bone I would say YES. Looks to maybe, be to much blade ware for my likings.

beauties Chris. Here is a little 2" hawk I lost to gas off, ripped the old handles off and put on some stag, looks better than black cell anyway
. Cleaned the gas off produced pits off the blade and I have a nice little hawk I can hang around my neck on a chain, No name but it is well built, looks italian,
