nice one Jody

Here is a nice BIG KA-BAR hawk, 4 3/4" closed! A real hand full. Now that i've got the ka-bar variations, guess I need to take a step back further and locate some union examples  . Collecting hawks is never ending, since I got an early start, maybe by the year 2058 I'll have them all

Just in.... this Wostenholm knife. Similar to, but better shape than the cocobolo version I have shown before. I think this one has rosewood scales. Is this technically a hawkbill ::shrug:: :) s-k

Great score, Kaleb! I missed it first time around. What's the third knife in your group pic? It's got a straight edge. Can you do a close-up??

I'd call it redbone, Chris! Mighty purty, too! Now don't overclean it, IMO. Just get the black loose stuff off. I believe in preserving patina, and as much of the original shape, and grind lines, as possible.
That Henckels is a sweet machine, Kaleb. Exceptional example of the breed!
