Very nice Monk! I followed that auction (and the others listed by the seller) - he sure had some nice stuff - I bought a first class quality Case jackknife, but I think you got the nicest stockman he had. Very, very, nice! OH

Here's a '71 6392 LC sent me in a trade, think he went
above and beyond the call of fair tradeology on this one.

2001 SFO Amber Barbwire 6375

Re: Let's see your Case Stockman knives
I've enjoyed carrying my Case 6318 SS for the last month so much that I decided to try a medium Stockman in carbon steel; went by the lumberyard and this is what I came up with - an Amber bone 63032 CV. About the only difference I can see between the two knives is square bolsters and a pen blade in lieu of the spey (from my point of view that's a better idea anyhow).

Went back to review and enjoy all the pictures in this thread and got my memory jogged - forgot I had bought this 6375 SS in Pocketworn blue bone some months ago. OH

Re: Let's see your Case Stockman knives
Those are nice ones OH, got 2-3 of those meself.
PW navy blue came out in 1999 as your tang stamp indicates.
They continued production into 2000 so they're are some
with the new millennium tang stamp. Ones I've seen still
had the 1999 shield, don't know if that is the norm or
exception. Item no. is 00766 if you didn't get a box.

Nice ones Gents!
Big Daddy, as Stockman stated, they had boxes of handles as I understand it and the cutler grabbed what was available or hopefully if the box was full, they did some searching to find a similar handle color. The bone was dyed in batches so the colors do differ from batch to batch and as shown on your knife, some do have significant color differences.
Anyway, a couple of Delrin 70's era stockmans...
