Picked up another sheepsfoot jack, a large feeling just over 3 3/4" John Primble India Steel Works. Looking at the bone and bolster thinking it may have been made by Miller Bros.
Another treasure, beautiful bone and a swedge on the blade.

Sheepsfoot jacks are my favorite pattern to collect, a few I've found over the years with help from friends. Not an easy pattern to find.
Gosh dang John R, that is an incredible array of fabulous old knives, like a museum. Wow are those fabulous. The bones are stunning.

There's nothing else I can say about this knife that's not already been said. It's simply stunning John.

Gorgeous knife JohnR, what can I say, you have the museums covered. Fabulous.
Not quite so beautiful or pristine, but an old Schrade Cut Co I really like. Great thread all.

Another Sheepsfoot arrived today, 3 7/8" Valley Forge, style of bone makes me think late 1800's early 1900's.
That is simply beautiful John. I really like they way they finished the blade.

Ivoryman, very nice Schrade Cut it has that 2nd style jigged bone which I call divot jigged bone. It came after the pick bone but before the peachseed jigged bone. Some say that divot jigged bone was done on the George Schrade jigging machine.
That is a sweetie FRJ, love the gentle graceful swayback lines and that patina. Killer bones and rat tails too of course. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
