Absolutely beautiful Rick! ::tu:: As dedicated to black covers as I am, the blue covers on your knife are spectacular, and I wish they were on my new knife! Notice the "swell" at the top-tip of my blade, it's much more prominent than on yours, does that make my blade different than a sheepsfoot? ::shrug:: Mine was built in France also! 8)

Fresh from the mailbox, a Case 10 dot, coke bottle type folding hunter.
It will be a companion to the 9 dot that I already have.

Nice score!

I need to pay more attention to the way my local knife store lists things on the website--I could've gotten a user version of that one (also a 10 dot) for $40.

My local knife store lists all used/vintage knives in their clearance section (which is a mess, as they're mixed in with modern production knives, flashlights, and other stuff that is new stock they're just clearing out) on the website--EXCEPT for Case, which has its own "Case Vintage" section. It's a mess, and next trip there I will be suggesting that they put ALL vintage knives, mint/unused or EDC, into its own section to make it easier to find; separating it from the actual clearance items.

When my knife store does get an EDC-condition older USA-made knife (which they rarely sell), they price it really low even if the only imperfection is one carbon spot on the blade. I got a flawless Solingen-made Boker 280 Whittler with one small carbon spot on the main blade for $30. The "mint", but otherwise identical one they had was $60.

Well. I had been pondering getting a G. Schrade Stainless Hunting & Fishing knife to add to my Schrade Family and my group of Steelies. Came across this set on The Bay so decided to pull the trigger. All are used. have some scratches, but still full blades.

One is a G. Schrade with the Stainless GEO. SCHRADE KNIFE CO., B'P'T. CONN. TANG STAMP. The next has the same frame, no tang stamp on the blade, but has the BOKER TREE BRAND blade etch. The last was the japan made Cousin Willie's Hunting & Fishing Knife. At under $14 a piece I feel good about them. Both Geo Schrades, the blades are tight, good snap, and strong lock with no movement when locked. The Cousin Willie's does have just a smidge of side to side, and the lock does have slight movement of the blade when locked. All have some scratches, but full. I've done nothing to these other than oil the joints.

I have just this one.
This knife was actually a double, 2 knives pinned together, when I got it.
One side had a broken blade, the other a broken main spring. I disassembled it and made one functioning single blade out of the parts.

For the longest time I've been wondering where some of you were finding these playing card knives.
I finally found the Royal Flush online at Knives Plus Amarillo, TX. I tried to get fancy with a composite
picture in the second one.

Papa Bones that is a nice set of knives. I think I have two sets of the same combination somewhere around here. I also have a George Schrade double with a knife on one side and a fork on the other. These are neat knives for the price. You got a good score there. Rick.

I've got several Klein electrician's knives, TL-29 type but have never noticed a stockman with that stamp. Found this one in the shallow end of the bay, 3 7/8", the spay and sheep foot are untouched but some on either filed or ground on the main blade. The clip is kind light on the pull, the other two will bite!
Is this a Camillus made knife?
