Made in Finland Knife-

I bought this at an auction and was wanting a bit of help on an approximate date for this knife.

Better known as a Puukko knife

Very hard to date. It is a traditional Finnish puukko with a horsehead pommel and casein handle. This style was first made about 1920 and likely persisted until maybe 1970's. I collect puukkos but am far from being an expert and the dates i give are guesses.
I have yet to meet a puukko expert who truly knows the history of these knives. They are great knives to use and edge hold longer than any other type of knife i have ever used.

And you will love they way they carry with those dangler sheaths! They are a little on the visible side whilst amongst sheeple, however. Nice knife!
