Ohio Cutlery Manufacturing Company 1919-1925

Post by Another Knife Collector »

According to Goins the Ohio Cutlery Manufacturing Company of Massillon, Ohio was founded in 1919 and it operated until June of 1923 when the factory burned down. The company reformed in a new factory, but lasted only until 1925 at that location when it was sold and renamed the Massillon Cutlery Company. Goins offers no info about this later company except that it operated circa 1925.

I found this nice little 3 inch pearl pen knife marked O C MFG CO MASSILLON OH on both blades and their trademark TRU-TEMPER on the back of the master. :D Anybody have any info or knives to share fro mthis short lived company?
