You're showing off with that one Charley. That one belongs on a calendar maybe with a staple. Excellent! ::nod:: ::nod::

Thank you gentlemen.

Much nicer day today, 50 degrees and sunny. The Fabulous Furry Farklehound got himself in trouble today being disobedient so, much to his displeasure, he had to do some time on the leash. Consequences my fine furry friend....

A fine looking knife Squatch. Soooo disappointed in the Farklehound. I'm sure he is sorry.

Agree about the knife. And sometimes you need to be on the leash

Thanks guys.

What do ya mean Doglegg? I was on the leash! That's how it works, if he's on one end of the leash I'm usually on the other end. ::rotflol::

Imperials. The more I looked at the image the better I thought it looked desaturated.

Well nice shots guys and I envy you guys….my camera just today took a dump….boxing it and shipping to Canon…they do quick turnaround of 5 business days…but I hate the $352 they charge for repair ::woot::

We got rained on during our walk today. Didn't mind the light drizzle but when it started coming down pretty hard we headed home and by the time we got home it had stopped raining. Go figure...

And here's one that goes along well with yours. ::tu::

While taking these pictures it fell down between the plastic tub and the wooded barrel. Lucky for me, I have gravel in there so it was only just out of reach. Had to get out my magnets to retrieve it. Dried it off and hit it with some Ballistol oil. ::tu::

I almost tried to place it on top of the ice. ::dang::
Good thing I tested it's strength first. Turned out to be slush. ::woot::

Thanks QS.

Love the color on that one Tom! ::tu::

Well isn't that a coincidence, that green Case cigar whittler was perched on top of that tree stump when a gust of wind sent it tumbling into the hollow stump. The stump is about 4 feet tall and hollow to the ground. Filled with the debris of a decomposing tree too. Long story short, I have some long arms but I couldn't reach it from the top. I couldn't even see it from the top. I had to enlarge a squirrel hole at ground level and feel around for it blind. As you can see all three blades were partially open when it fell so, while I managed to retrieve the knife, I'm wearing four band-aids today! ::rotflol:: Muffinhead thought I had lost my mind there on my knees with half my arm shoved in the bottom of a hollow tree stump.

I've got plenty of green. Here's one from the archive until we go out later...

Thanks Tom. That picture was taken last spring.

I've had a couple of similar experiences in the past. Once I was shooting a pic beside the creek, as I often do, and the knife tumbled off of the tree branch that I had chosen for my scene (because it extended out over the creek a bit) and into the creek. It's a good thing that my boots are water-proof.
