Happy Saturday to all at AAPK,
I have this beautiful knife with just a tang stamp but no makers name. It has something that looks like a baton with tassles on the tang.
My sleuthing on the web found no conclusion except that it may be from a Eastern European country and the celluloid pattern is called lava flow.
Any help in identifying this knife's maker and date would be highly appreciated.
Thank you!

Re: Red cracked ice pocket knife tang stamp
I have never before seen this logo.
I have seen knives made in China with somewhat similar markings, i.e. a circle with a tool of some sort in the circle. They appear to be trying to look like old German markings.

I agree Kj, looks like many similar knives I have seen that were made in China.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
