My Finally Friday choice is a Mikov from Czecho Solvakia by way of Germany (Tom). Sharp enough to get the job done.

Nice! I have quite a few of them kicking around here (since autos are now legal here, a Predator is certainly joining the bunch) and they're pretty nice. Got most of mine on sale from a woodworking supply dealer in MO who had their entire stock of Mikov knives for like 75% off.

I think the plastic Mikov uses on most modern knives is ABS. Not FRN, but it holds up.

How do you like the M-16, ken? My M-21 gets EDC duty often.

There are two versions, (that I have) the smaller one (4") has a liner lock and another small lever that must be manipulated in order to operate
the liner lock.
The lager one (4 5/8") is a frame lock and is a much better system in my opinion.
