That is a challenging photo Squatch. I can't decipher what is vertical, what is possibly horizontal, plus the angle of the knife. The result is I think it is visually a very strong shot.

Out of the billions of rocks. We stopped for lunch and found this painted on the rock.

Thanks much for the nice words, I dont want to clog up the thread but here is one more..... All little bandits

No clog, just good additions to the groove. Keep it rolling, nice shots again. Great group shot and the glass is great for knife pics.

Just stunning, can't say enough good about blueish ivory. Wow is that a winner. Just about too cool for words. Congrats on that one.

John, I'd love to know the story behind the painted rock. It looks fresh, i.e. not very old.

Garry.. It was kinda ironic that we lunched on this particular painted boulder.. The actual rock that this was painted on was huge.. Looks like someone else thought it was a good spot too so they adorned it.. Have no other info though.. ::shrug::

Thanks QS.

As usual, the Magnificent Muffinhead leads me past numerous interesting opportunities for a knife photo on our walks. As things green-up there will be many backdrops that aren't there right now, flowers, vines and other such growth will be taking over the grove.

That's from the archive taken last summer. I'll try to get him to sit still long enough to include him a a couple of daily shots.

Nice photos, Charlie.

Cool knife and rock, Jmh, though I do not think that the painting is very old.

Rookie - I really like the second photo with the acorn and moss!

Okay.
Great shot with the top of his head over the mower. Sweet Squach.

Here's a little old Schrade I shot while walking at a local beach.
