Both the abalone and stag are Bulldogs. Its difficult, at least for me, to capture the beauty of abalone. Appreciate your comment Guarddogg.

Thank you Iman. Actually, my Bulldogs are not used, just out for the day to be admired. The real using knife for the day is this.

I put a new shield on this one yesterday and cleaner her up a little, so I decided to tote her around today.
It is not a very practical knife, but I have an eclectic accumulation. (Which means it was cheap, and I couldn't resist!). I am not a fan of plastic stag, but muskrats are kinda cool!

Going with an Eye Brand Congress sent to me from Germany today. Bone scales, Wharncliffe and Coping blades that are all stamped, #56 pattern number, and sharp too (the most important thing 😉).

I always get a kick out of using my Opinels. I guess it just because they are so different from other knives. And they cut well.
