I received a couple of non-traditional Rough Riders today and here they are! A 6 3/4" oal RR1758 Southwestern pattern slip-joint Dr.'s knife, and a 10" oal RR2326 slip-joint "Toad-Sticker" with Buckshot covers! Straight into the unusual pile! The RR2326 is interesting, I’ve not had one of those in my shop, but they are in stock through my distributor, so I threw a couple in my cart…I’ll handle that one sober or at least semi-sober

I’ve got a new pile of my own here.
Back in October I lost a dear friend to COVID. He was like an elder brother to me. I’ve recently been assisting with sorting through his things, and found these scattered around his house and work shop. None of them are patterns / models that I particularly care for, but the sentimental value is definitely there. I’m sure they’ll all find their way into my pocket at some point.

That would be as good as any Willie! LOL! What a beautiful pile of knives you just received, I particularly like the unmarked "Italy" lockback! My condolences for your loss buddy.

Please don't take offence Iman, but with all the gorgeous knives you usually post this one seems kindda "plain-jane" to me, but that's just me, I'm sure plenty of folk find it spectacular! I guess I'm just use to your exotic covers and sheepsfoot blades!

Lot of nice stuff here fellas.
Received this box Full of knives yesterday and was only expecting one . The Ebony 72 Camillus with Ivory was done by Randy ( Goldpan ) . It’s now a favorite carry . He also gifted a lock back Hunter he did some 10 years ago with some gnarly covers. This one will go on a few Whitetail hunts . The modified warnie with reclaimed Oak barrel covers ,a Ulster 63 and super slim aluminum frame Barlow type .
Randy, you are a generous man and Thank you for hanging in there on the Ebony/ Ivory. It’s Great .

What a great score J.P.! And good on Randy for his generosity! I particularly like the all-metal "Barlow type" model!

Ha ha ha, Marco, that gave me a good chuckle. No offense taken, just our differences in aesthetic beauty definitions. Here I thought it was a good looking knife. I guess I probably have many plain janes buddy, but I like the old brown covers and think they look good. It was in pretty good condition and had a lot of blade and life left in it and will make a good carrier. Sorry to disappoint you my friend (joke) and post one that isn't a beauty queen, but hey, that's how I roll. Have a great one!

I'm so glad you took my comment in the nature it was intended buddy! I was actually quite torn as to whether I'd post it or not, but I just wanted to be honest without dissing your knife and was really hoping I wouldn't rustle any feathers. You certainly don't need to qualify your reasons for liking the knife, it's exactly what you said, a simple difference in aesthetic beauty definitions. I'm sure some of the monstrosities I post don't do a thing for you, yet you always have a kind comment to post, I just couldn't in all honesty say I found the knife attractive. And I certainly understand your knife M.O. regarding what and how you post your knives, so you didn't disappoint me, I guess it's like I said, that I'm just not use to that sort of knife from your posts.
