MAY 14th SHOW IN BERLIN MD

Announcing the Spring, SELL, SWAP, SHOW Knife event at WINDMILL CREEK WINERY on Saturday, May 14th, Noon-5 pm. Our first effort last fall was small but well attended. The event is totally free to sellers, swappers, and lookers. The show is outdoors on a lovely farm/vineyard just off US 113 near Berlin/Ocean City on Maryland's eastern shore. ABSOLUTELY NO FIREARMS TO BE SOLD OR SHOWN ON THE PREMISES.
There will be a vendor liquidating an inherited collection of 21 Randall knives, military collectors, and antique pocketknives. (Cheap imports are not desired at this event.)

hey John - the weather forecast for this weekend looks like a repeat of last weekend. Are there indoor accommodations or would inclement weather postpone or cancel this event?

Good question, Tom. I got totally waterlogged in Cumberland last weekend. Instead of wearing boots, I should have just stuck my feet in the ditch. They would have dried out faster.

It's totally outdoors. Weather Channel calling for 67 degrees and a 69% chance of rain but that could change either way. I'm watching and will make the decision maybe by Thursday night. We weren't starting until noon so......

Been watching the weather for Saturday. Actually the forecast is improving slightly. Morning rain and clearing to cloudy around noon. We were starting at noon anyway so I may hold off the final decision until Friday morning. Just hate to scratch and the day turns out okay. Stay tuned. I'll know definitely by 10;30 a.m. J.O'.

Thank you sir -I saw the same forecast and right now I’m planning to attend although I’m going to be selective about what I bring to display because I don’t want anything to get wet or exposed to higher humidity.

probably the right call John - FYI there’s a vineyard in Lewes DE (https://www.nassauvalley.com/) that has an indoor venue that might be available tomorrow or beyond that’s probably only 30 miles away.

Cancelling turned out to be the right call. Poured all morning until around 2:45 pm. Did receive a call from a guy with 3 old Katana's and a Japanese rifle and hooked him up with a military vendor friend. Hope it worked out for both of them. Again, Stay tuned. J.O'.

Yeah, here in Georgetown the sun just broke out (5:45) and while we only got 1/3” of rain, everything is soaked. GOOD CALL!
