Hen and Rooster??

Got a knife the other day and it is "supposed" to be a hen and rooster but can't find it anywhere and it looks kinda iffy any into on it will be much appreciated thank you

I don't think H&R knives actually say that like Case or Buck. If you look at this chart, there are small variations of the birds. See which variation on the chart matches the one on your knife and it should give you an idea of when your knife was made, assuming it's real.

The hen and rooster stamp looks like the 1983+

Knife looks suspect to me. Especially the stamp Solingen stainless 440, this is not a stamp I've ever seen used on H&R.

Yeah it doesn't say "Hen and Rooster" or a model number anywhere

Your tang stamp is definitely from the period that A.G Russell owned the brand from 1975-1980. If you look on “the cutting edge” you can see very similar tang stamps that are authentic.
